YOU CAN'T SUDDENLY CHANGE YOUR WAY OF LIVING

A short film titled:
You can't suddenly change your way of living;

The film is exploring social norms, the body as a form of self expression and how we perceive ourselves and one another.

All audio was taken from and inspired by the BFI collection 'Other grooves': a compilation of documentaries and short films from the 1960s -70s, that we have cut up and remixed to create our film's sound.

Visuals are a mixture of Canon 700D footage and Super 8 film.

THE ROOSTER PRINCE

A collaborative short film by Mo Pittaway, Ella Dale and Emiloum exploring fables, morals and commonality. The entire film was shot using a Super 8 camera.

Rough cut images from the final film, what the images look like when developed from the super 8. All our footage came back perfect the picture quality has that timeless, grainy and nostalgic feeling which we want throughout the film.

Because the set was flooded with light, some of these images are slightly over exposed. This can be seen more on the paler coloured masks, as some detailing can be lost. I don’t feel this is massive problem and does not affect the quality of the film in anyway.
Editing cuts is finished, just colour grading to go to make sure all colour is consistent throughout the duration of the film.
